  1. For one thing, I'm finally managing to get past the plateau I've been stuck at for months on end - hallelujah! What a wonderful added benefit to the other healthy things this cleanse is doing for my body!
I'm getting a little more creative in the kitchen and have come up with a few favorites of my own. Before I was leery of substitutions so much of my diet consisted of a few standard dishes.
Most importantly I think I've learned that a daunting endeavor is only as difficult as you make it in your mind...
Oh and it sure helps to have an experienced and encouraging mentor to cheer you through it - thanks Ivy!

  2. I hurt my shoulder working out! What a bummer! But I think I may be taking it more in stride because of the cleanse.

Anyway, I've lost 10 lbs, feel great other than my shoulder, and most important development is the clearing out of age old emotional CRAP that seemed to be stuck in my body. We forget that that's where our emotions are stored...in our bodies. So thanks again, Ivy, for this motivation to do this. For me it's more about making a commitment to yourself and following through, not just about what you eat or don't eat.

So, I've finally let go of alot of baggage I've been carrying around, thanks to the cleanse and the support. It's about f---ing time!

    P. S. can I say f---ing?

  3. Way to go, Jen! You always come up with great insights and I love to hear your thoughts. It's wonderful that you're getting more play time in the kitchen - having good tasting food makes all the difference, doesn't it? And you are (again) so absolutely right about our minds and how they trick us, bargain with us, and keep us from doing things we could and should be doing. Well, I'm so glad this has been such a positive experience for you and that you broke through that plateau! Keep up the great momentum!

  4. Jeannie, it's so great to hear about your progress and your breakthroughs! You have to feel so great about the work you've been doing and the results you're getting! What's happening for you is exactly what keeps me so excited about this process - it really works on so many levels! So congratulations on making it happen! Like Jenny said, it's easy to perceive this as a daunting process but if you approach it with an open mind the results can be amazing - physically, mentally and emotionally!
